Nursing Informatics – connecting health and humans

The theme of the conference was:
Nursing Informatics – Connecting Health and Humans, emphasizing the role of nursing and nurses, as well as the role of consumers in health information management.

There were five hundred and fifty attendees at this international conference. They came from a wide variety of countries – some expert in nursing informatics like the USA where they have been involved in this mode of delivery for over twenty years.  Others just taking their first steps. The countries represented were  Germany,  Finland, USA, Australia, Netherlands, UK, Sweden, Norway, Japan, Israel, Taiwan, Brazil, Greece, Netherlands  and New Zealand.
